Based upon my experiences, the measure of a successful service provider is the degree of integrity of the owner of the business and the people who work for the company. Too many times in the home construction business, lack of integrity, substandard performance, and unsubstantiated pricing/costs are normal business practice. Retention of Ben Teague to provide an objective, thorough inspection ofthe property for sale is one of the best proactive steps a buyer can take to ensure their decision to purchase is made based upon all available facts.
Personal experience led me to retain the services of Ben Teague to inspect a newly constructed mountain property we recently purchased. While we hoped that the highest construction practices were used by the developers construction company, major difficulties we experienced during the construction phase and numerous documented examples of lack of integrity by the builder were factors in our retention of Mr. Teague to provide us with the necessary information as to the general condition of the property. Mr. Teague entered into a difficult situation with a level of expertise the builder could not reasonably question.
Mr. Teague's success is demonstrated by the balance of a thorough inspection that will objectively identify both acceptable and unacceptable practices in the construction and condition of a structure. While Mr. Teague must display a straight forward approach when dealing with both parties to the transaction, he exhibited a manner that will only intimidate the contractor that has something to hide or is not knowledgeable about acceptable construction techniques. Mr. Teague understands that loyalty to the party that retains his services is based upon an objective inspection of theproperty as the best service he can perform.
In summary, based upon our experiences with Ben Teague, I would highly recommend his services.
